RGP (hard) lenses

Hard lens from Wöhlk with multi-aspheric back surface geometry, with medium gas permeability, large central spherical back surface and UV protection.

The eccentricity is 0.5. The lens is plasma treated to improve wetting properties.  Replace annually.

We can only deliver this lens in material ASF60 or material BXO.

WÖHLK PAUL lenses can substitute the lenses "Persecon E" from Alcon, and the Hanita AS IV lenses.

Rose K2 XL from the manufacturer Menicon is a semi-scleral lens used for keratoconus, PMD, post-surgical, and any irregular corneal condition that cannot be successfully treated by fitting a lens within the limbus. This lens is ideally suited for patients who cannot tolerate smaller GP corneal lenses, for pellucid marginal degeneration, keratoglobus, corneal inserts, and patients who have significant corneal distortion after undergoing penetrating keratoplasty.

Rose K2 Soft (3 month replacement soft lens with extra thick central optic zone for correction of irregular corneas) is a keratoconus lens from the manufacturer Menicon.

Rose K2 Soft is ideal for intolerance to GP lenses, new contact lens wearers with irregular corneas, and early to moderate irregular corneas.

Rose K2 NC (Nipple Cone) - a keratoconus contact lens specifically for nipple cones from the manufacturer Menicon.

The Rose K2 NC primary indication is for advanced and moderate nipple cones and for secondary applications for any defined nipple cone. The design characteristics concern a very small aspheric back optic zone diameter that decreases as the base curve steepens, and a very rapid peripheral flattening from the back optic zone.

Rose K2 IC (IC = irregular corneas) - a keratoconus contact lens specifically for irregular corneas (lens for larger areas of corneal distortion) from the manufacturer Menicon.

This lens design can be used for irregular corneas for which other designs have failed. It has a larger overall diameter, utilizes the same systematic fitting approach of the Rose K2 design, and has secondary applications for nipple and oval cones.
